About Abby Bryant
A music minister’s daughter and vocal force of nature turned fierce frontwoman on the festival scene, Abby Bryant learned early how to turn faith into fire, fusing Sunday spirit with Saturday night energy. Bryant enchants audiences with a unique best-of-both-worlds edge that proves beautifully-crafted songs and the living pulse of the jam world can synergize into one unforgettable experience. Her striking stage presence and electrifying five-piece band bring palpable energy and groove to the last note.
Bryant found her true love for performing in college at Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. She quickly formed a touring band playing the Southeast and beyond. During her first year on the road, FloydFest named Bryant winner of the festival’s 2019 “On-the-Rise” competition. She went on to release her debut album Not Your Little Girl in 2021 which garnered critical acclaim and Americana chart success with themes of growing up, leaving home, and finding her own identity outside her traditional upbringing.
Produced by Dave Schools of Widespread Panic, Bryant’s highly anticipated sophomore album Glowing, released fall 2024, includes a cast of heavy-hitting session musicians including Adam MacDougall (Circles Around the Sun, Chris Robinson Brotherhood) and John Kimock (Mike Gordon Band, Oteil Burbridge & Friends). Glowing features a collection of dynamic and contemplative tracks that highlight Bryant's artistic growth and evolving sonic landscapes as she comes into her own and ventures into ever-bolder explorations..
